Today is a very special day. Today is my Grandma JoAnn's birthday. She's in heaven. She's been gone since December 2003. It's amazing how fast time flies. That's 7 years ago. I miss her terribly. She was very loving and caring. She had a huge heart andd wasn't afraid to show you that she loves you. I wish that she were still here today. I wanted to do something speccial for her birthday. I went out and took pictures of flowers. She had all sorts of plants in her home.
I met a lady named Kim. She let me take her picture. When I seen her laying down and reading a book with this awesome tree next to her I had a vision of how I wanted the pictures to turn out. I'm very happy that she allowed me to take her picture. Thank you Kim!!! It was nice meeting you today.
Getting back to some nature pics. Here's a rather interesting looking fellow. I have to admit that I get carried away rather easily when taking pics. I screamed so loud today thinking that this fellow had "jumped" onto me. I can only imagine what anyone would have thought... not seeing this little invisible guy and seeing me with my camera and screaming. LoL It's ok. I got the shots that I wanted of him. That's all that matters ;) and they got the laughs :) LoL
